To jump to a spezific byte position in a file use the menu EDIT - GOTO. You can use the following opportunities for positioning:

From the beginning of the file	Use a positive number, i.e. 9
From the actual position forward	Use a plus-sign and a positive number, i.e. +9
From the actual position backwards	Use a minus-sign and a positive number, i.e. -9
From the end of the file	Use a exclamation mark and a positive number, i.e. !9
